     James W. Clymer was born on 16 February 1874 at Horse Cave, Hart County, Kentucky, son of Robert Valentine Clymer and Elizabeth A. Perkins.
     James W. Clymer moved to Missouri after his mothers death and then to Oklahoma in 1888, at the age of 14.
     On Saturday, February 14, 1899, James "Jim" Clymer came into the town of Weatherford, Oklahoma with his best friend, Charley Perkins and the men got drunk. On the way home, they started joking around with each other, which led to an argument and a fight. James used his whiskey bottle to beat Charley unmercifully. Charley managed to get away, but was later met by James on the road to his house and beat again. After letting him go, James warned Charley that if he ever seen him again, he would kill him on sight.
     At approximately 10pm, Tuesday, February 16, 1899, James went to the home of Mrs. Shahan to find Charley and carry out his threat of death. The family begged James not to enter the house, but he pushed his way through and came face to face with a terrified Charley Perkins, who fired a .45 Caliber Colt at James, hitting him close to the heart. James managed to walk around the house until he found a bed and then fell dead.
     James Clymer was buried at 3pm on Thursday, February 18, 1899 at the Arapaho Cemetery.

     At age 35, Jesse married Roberta Lee Clymer , daughter of Robert Valentine Clymer and Elizabeth A. Perkins. Jesse and Roberta were married on Sunday, 18 August 1889 at Oklahoma Territory.
     Jesse Baker Kephart was a Blacksmith. A piece of steel was imbedded in left eye while he was a blacksmith and left him blinded in that eye. As of 1900 when the census was taken, he was a farmer and remained so until his death (per death certificate).
     According to land records, he lived in Hensley Township, Johnson County, Indiana from birth to March 25, 1854. He moved to Nineveh Township, Johnson County, Indiana, January 27, 1860 and lived there till April 17, 1860.
     According to the 1860 census taken on Jun 26, Jesse lived with his parents, siblings and Jesse Baker, age 84, born in North Carolina (Serelda's grandfather on her mother's side?) in Johnson County, Indiana, Hensley Township, Morgantown Post Office.
     He lived in a log cabin in Indian Territory (south central part of state) near what is now Duncan, Stephens County, Oklahoma, in 1890. Then Jesse is shown with a Homestead in Custer County, Oklahoma Territory in 1894 on property near Hydro, Blaine or Caddo County.
     Per census taken on 13 Jun 1900, lived in Washita Township, Custer County, Oklahoma Territory.
     According to F. Marcella Oglesby, after his divorce from Berttie, he lived in the cellar at his son Avira's home until time of death. The death certificate shows he lived in Rural Butler, Custer, Oklahoma at time of death.
     Jesse Baker Kephart died on 12 February 1940 at Butler, Custer County, Oklahoma, at age 86. Death certificate information given by A. Kephart incorrectly shows Jesse's mother to be Jemima Wilson. Per death certificate, immediate cause of death was heart disease due to old age dropsy due to nephritis(?). Per newspaper clipping, died from a heart attack at Avira Kephart's home in southwest Butler. Funeral services were held at Kern and Schneider Funeral Home in Clinton. E.F. Gasaway, First Christian Church pastor of Clinton in charge of funeral services. He was buried; in Edwardsville (pronounced Eddardsville) Cemetery in Butler, Oklahoma, however when Foss Lake was constructed, Edwardsville Cemetery was moved to Canute Cemetery, Oklahoma.

When they couldn't stand living together any more, each lived in his own lean-to made of scrap lumber, but they still lived within a few feet of each other.

     Walter Kephart died on 30 April 1960 at Ft. Supply, Custer County, Oklahoma, at age 67; Died at Ft. Supply, Oklahoma. Ft. Supply is a mental institution. Walter was an alcoholic and drank wood alcohol which made him crazy. When Marcia Kephart and Hubert Dean Kephart were little, Judie Williams caught Walter choking Hubert Dean and had him committed. He was buried at Clinton, Custer County, Oklahoma; Buried in Clinton Cemetery, Army Lot. Services Kern & Schneider Chapel, Reverend Alvis O. Merrill minister, pall bearers were Chester Larimore, R. D. Dunlap, Glen Peterson, Roy Mouse, A. B. Dirickson and A. D. Durham, music by Mr. & Mrs Truman Smith.
