     James Larimore died on 27 October 1860 at Hart County, Kentucky, at age 62. He was buried at Cosby Cemetery, Hart County, Kentucky.

     Robert J. Larimore began military service on 5 March 1862 as a Confederate soldier in Comapny F, 37 Regt, Virginia Infantry during the Civil War. He was captured at Shottsylvania, Virginia on 5/12/1864. His release was negotiated and he was exchanged for an unknown prisoner on 10/31/1864.
