John Martin Larremore was born on 18 January 1874 at Pecos, Reeves County, Texas, son of Judge George Washington Larremore and Rachel Adeline Fanning.
At age 27, John married Annie Belle Jennings , daughter of John Perry Jennings and Sena Ann Windham. John and Annie were married on Tuesday, 16 July 1901 at McMillan, Eddy County, New Mexico; In the EARLY MARRIAGES OF EDDY COUNTY, their wedding announcement read as follows:
JOHN MARTIN LARREMORE of McMillan, age 26, to ANNIBELLE JENNINGS of McMillan, age 18 years, were married 16 July 1901 by Byron J. Field, J.P. WITNESS: Millie S. Field. Book 1-A, page 106. John Martin Larremore and Annie Belle Jennings seperated circa 1937. Per Larry Larremore, Aneabel moved back to NM without John Martin.
John Martin Larremore died on 25 October 1955 at Lander, Wyoming, at age 81. He was buried at Oddfellow's Cemetery, Lander, Wyoming.
A letter written to John Martin Larremore's sister, Dora Etta Larremore Bass, by his daughter, Easter Larremore Macey, from Lander, Wyoming, dated, November 10, 1955, reads as follows:
Dearest Aunt Dora,
I am so ashamed of myself for not writing sooner, but can't seem to get caught up with the things I should do, but I will try to explain about my father. Tom and I, with the aid of a very small benefit insurance from his lodge (only $140.00) put him away as nice as we possibly could. He had a very nice casket, and he was buried in the Oddfellow's Cemetery, which is as plot
reserved in our cemetery. We had no church services, as my father was down on all ministers and churches, but he had Oddfellow services, which is what he would have wanted. Please don't grieve over him, as it is better this way. We could not help him, as he would not let us, and had he lived, something tragic would have happened to him. He had gotten to the point where he would have been PUT AWAY, as the sheriff couldn't even handle him, and I feel nothing but relief that things happened as they did. Please rest assured that he was never abused by anyone, as the doctors would use some kind of sedation to quiet him. I am not telling you this to hurt you, but if you feel the way I do, I'm sure that you can see how much better off he is. I think liquor is the most devilish thing on this earth, and it ruins everything and everyone it comes in contact
with. We have no use for it in this house. I hope that you don't think that I am too narrow, but I just can't see why anyone can tolerate liquor, and constant drinking.
I had a sweet letter from Mrs. W.E. Hellyer, and just as soon as I can find the time for another letter, I will write to her.
My oldest son is in the service and my next son left the 8th for induction. I have my twelve year old left at home, and we are such a close family, that I'm just lost without my boys.
Well, I am going to have to close and get breakfast, as it is nearly getting up time for my family. I get up at five nearly every day. Write to me when you can as I surely enjoy your letters. I'll try to write again soon, but I just feel kind of blue and let down at the present time, and can't think very clearly. Please believe that we did the very best that we could about my father(John Martin Larremore), and none of the family need be worried, as he was buried decently.
I hope this letter finds you well, and please give my regards to your family. Love, Easter.

Joseph Fanning Quoting from the History of Morgan County, Illinois:

The family of which we write are of the purest Milesian descent, being of the race of IR. of the Hermonian line, and settled in Ireland more than 2,000 years ago. Joseph Fanning, grandfather of James, was born in Virginia. His parent's history is so obscure that it would be idle to go back any further in the line of descent here in America; was by trade a blacksmith, moved at an early day to Tennesee, finally settling in Morgan Co. (Illinois) in 1825; after a few years residence, having improved what is now the Henry Rawling estate, sold out and moved with his family, (viz: John, Robert George, Joseph, Abraham, Jacob, Delila, Mary, Sampson, David, Andrew, (first wife's children); of the second, were: Nathan, William Archibald, Louise and one other girl, (name not known) to Arkansas. The father of Mr. Fanning was born in Wirth Co., VA and moved with his father to Tennessee, about the year 1820, in company with his brothers, George and Joseph; moved in a covered wagon over the wild and barren waste of praire, setting in Madison Co., this state; thence moved with his brother and settled on "Indian Creek," Morgan Co., lived there a short time, and returned to Giles Co., Tenn; was married to Miss Nancy Galloway; the children to this union were: Martha C., Joseph, Mary, Ruth, Abraham, James, John, Sarah, Barbara Anne, and Sampson. After marriage, remained in Tennessee a few years then moved with his family, in a one-horse, two-wheel cart; a yoke of oxen did the pulling; one of those faithful beasts was almost useless, as it was lame from a bad knee, when he landed on Hart's praire; his whole capital would not foot up one dollar, but had a bright intellect and an indomitable will, that helped him win his way through the harassing days of the early settlement of the then new State on the confines of civilization; improved a farm now owned by John Spires; next located on a farm fourteen miles south of Jacsonville; sold out, bought 150 acres in Sec. 18, a log house soon loomed up, that was afterward the hospitable stopping place for the care-worn preacher, and belated hunter; lived there continuously, except one year and six months; died Oct. 20, 1859, aged 62 years. His honored relict still lives to recount many incidents of the age of praire wolves, and lives with her children. Mr. Fanning, during his lifetime, was a blacksmith, had not a word of learning, owned more than 1,500 acres of land, and gave to each child a quarter section of land at their marriage.
